Up and at it

Today is a busy day ahead so up early amd out for a walk with Trixie.

Trixie is a 10 month old Golden Retriever and is a larger than average size golden retriever for her age.

For the the last 8 weeks shes been in the vets having bloods, xrays done because shes being lifting her right back leg on walks ans hobbling. Thanfully not hip displaysia, nkt bone disease or any heirline fractures. Vet put it down to her rapid growth and size. So rest was on the cards for the last 6 weeks.

Ive been gradually bringing her up from 5min walks to 10, 15 etc so this week she got up to 40 mins so i said id bring her to the park as an early pup that she used to love and she was so happy to be in her park this morning!

Running and very happy, sniffing everywhere, saying helllo everyone and dog and everyone admiring her again. Plus she managed a 45 minute walk. So far so good, no lifting the leg!!
