Kitchen table still life with Alstromeria

I really really wish I had a room, with space and good light, where I could arrange and shoot still life. I would have loads of interesting fabrics to drape about, and fascinating objects, as well as apples and onions and the odd dead pheasant.
One day maybe. As it is, I use the kitchen table with the pendant light above, and have to do a big tidy up before and again afterwards.
