Five goslings

This is an Egyptian goose with her 5 little ones alongside the Long Water at Hampton Court. Today there was light rain and they were huddled together. When I was passing a few days ago they all came towards me as I think some people must take food for them. I was with a friend who asked me how long is the Long Water? I’ve just looked it up ...apparently it’s 3,800 feet so over half a mile long.
No sign of the swans and their cygnets today...just two deserted nests on the ponds nearby. See extra.
We had a coffee at the Hampton Court Golf Club restaurant which is now open to non members.
