Back to the past

A wonderfully traditional lunchtime.

A delightful Sunday lunch - white tablecloths, white napkins, beautiful presentation, roast beef (properly pink) with all the trimmings. Families relaxing together at large round tables.

Ignore our masks on arrival, it was just the way it used to be, except that it was very quiet. I wonder how many restaurants will still be around.

The photo is of the entrance hall at the Swinfen Hall Hotel, near Lichfield.
