...of margins I managed to get a few grains of pollen in focus.

I haven't used the macro lens for ages and it always catches me out by how thin the depth of field is. So I present to you a 'painterly' abstract of some flowers on mum's hall table.

Or, more correctly, a poorly taken photo that shows a clear lack of technique with a macro lens. You'll have to 'go large' to even stand a hope of seeing the two sharp grains of pollen.
