Pretty....cold

-9 when I had to get out of bed.

-9. In March.

So unfair, especially when last week we were teased by the sun and 17C & I was able to get an eiscafé.

Ho hum. Such is life. At least it didn't snow again so I didn't have to shovel again, and the forecast does lead me to think that -9 was the bottom and now we are climbing (slowly) back to spring and warmth.

I'm told that the reason it's gone stupidly cold is because the gulf stream that is usually our friend and brings warm air hasn't got high enough up and is currently flirting about in southern europe, which does explain why my parents are having so much fun in Madeira.
