Me and My Boy

Can you still call your son a boy even when he is in his 50s?
Well l can.
Had a lovely weekend with my Calderdale family.
We just sat in the garden yesterday and enjoyed the weather.
Too hot to have the planned evening walk.
Tim made more bread and we had a no tomato pasta dish which included Toulouse sausage, fennel, butter,  a drizzle of cream with lots of Parmesan, think Adele used a recipe of Rick Stein’s. 
Today, Tim was having a taster session at sailing over at Denholme so Adele and l walked Peggy while he was on the water, see extra.
What a beautiful place, can’t believe l’ve drove past it so many times and never knew a sailing club existed there.
Tim is coming to the end of his Rugby days, he still plays touch rugby in a masters team from Manchester ( where he is the oldest by at least ten years) and played for England before the pandemic. He still cycles but not competitively anymore. So this could be his next passion, we shall see.
