Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

Today's been a busy day, for me.
First I met up with my cousin (he who lives in Germany with his wife and two adorable kids), little J and little M. Since we usually only meet during Christmas time, it's a real treat to have them home for two whole months! We're meeting outside, for now. He totally respected that I really want to see them and spend time with them, but outside until I got my second shot.
We spent some time on a short walk, with little J walking with us and little M in her fathers arms. Then we stopped at a playground and J spent some time on a swing and then on this slide. There were other kids there too, but J is a bit shy and since he mostly speaks German I think interacting with Swedish speaking kids can be a bit challenging. He understands Swedish, but doesn't speak it, yet.
Then they were going to the supermarket and I went home for a rest. I went to the supermarket too, but later in the afternoon. Had to rest some more when I came home. Finally I replanted my newly bough six strawberry plants outside, really pleased with myself.
And, since my only fitting shorter trousers are in a really strange style... with high front and low back - almost like maternity trousers, but this wasn't, and rather snug around the lower legs, I need to do some more sewing.
This also means that the lap book for my (other) cousin might not be delivered when I wanted it too. That's ok, though. It's better to have all of them together and then give them the gifts.

Little J on the slide had to be my blip for today. :)
