Rain?

Forecasts of rain have been optimistic as it skirted us. Maybe it will come in the night. An unsettled period coming up.

Some forecasters saying Italy will this year maybe have a proper Italian summer rather than the super hot, dry, suffocatingly humid ones recorded over the last years. That would be so good. Proof and puddings notwithstanding.

I’ve been rereading Anthony Beevor’s ‘The Battle for Normandy’ which was as vicious as any fighting in the IIWW. Gripping and terrifying.
