Meet Six Dinner Sid! If you know the children's story, you'll be able to guess what he's been up to!

Sid has been around for quite a while, I've blipped him before, but now there is something very different about him. You can't tell from this photo but he has had his tail amputated. We don't know where he comes from or what has happened to him, but he's obviously been very seriously injured. Both his front legs have been shaved, presumably by the vet, and as well as having his tail removed, he also has a large shaved patch on one side, presumably the sight of an operation. 

So I feel very sorry for Sid, which is why he has got away with sneaking into the house and stealing Toffee's food the last week or so! The problem with having the doors all open in this warm weather is that he sneaks in unnoticed. I wouldn't mind so much but he scares Toff and she hisses every time she sees him. He's oblivious to Toff and just saunters around the garden as if it's his own. He's actually quite sweet, with the most pitiful meow, and likes to rub round my legs. As well as food, he's after some human affection. I must admit I have given him a few snacks, so maybe that's why Sid turns up nearly every day now! Sorry Toff...
