Doing well!

He hasn't ridden a pony since last summer, I wasn't sure how well he was going to do - he did brilliantly and did a few trotting poles.  What he needs now is a whole lot of lessons to get him really going... this is where the husband groans in despair... 

Lovely day staying with our friends, they have such a wonderful set-up and are very lucky! The boys all had a great time playing together, although there were a few moments where it didn't all go quite as smoothly as it might have. Tired children, toys not played with as others expected etc... but all was ultimately very good. Long journey home, but well worth the drive! 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The dog travelling really well, it's the furthest he has travelled and he was pretty much perfect. 
The eldest for his love of pony's and doing so well 
The youngest for getting on a pony and demanding to go....FAST!
