Buttercups

A lovely walk this afternoon around Trowbarrow Quarry, a dramatic rock face used nowadays by rock climbers despite notices of danger and rockfalls. We spotted two lone bee orchids at the far end of the quarry but there are wild flowers everywhere at present, including fields full of buttercups. This cheery clump were fully open to the sun as we walked by.
