An old friend from New Jersey is in town and so I swooped by to pick her up at her hotel and we went to my daughter's house for dinner (daughter volunteered to cook!).....so we had dinner inside because it is summer here and it's HOT outside, but after dinner we went outside to watch the sunset.  This bird flew on to the roof of the house, then down to the back deck and was just walking around, oblivious to we four humans there.  THEN, the bird walked into the house!!!  This back room is a sort of indoor/outdoor room, but nevertheless, the bird walked right in!!!  We wondered if the former tenants had been feeding it, because it seemed to know just where to go to get some food!  When no food was available, the bird walked back out, scoured the surrounding area for geckos or other edible critters and then flew away.   
So that's my blip for today.  Nature is wonderful!!!  :)
