To the Anchorage

Goodbye Kerrera and we waste no time in heading to our next port of call all the way across the bay - Oban! The new transit jetties - and nosing into their finger pontoons the first mate steps briskly off the boat and has that line on the cleat in barely the blink of an eye. This augurs well for the rest of the cruise. The sky being blue, we take selfies for friends before stepping to the M&S Foodhall.
And then a change in the weather as we cast off. Dark clouds! Rain! What fun, I exclaim. It’s not forecast to last long...
And actually it didn’t. The rest of the day stayed dry as we cut inside Easdale (main pic) and then scooted down Cuan Sound on the ebb where we anchored for the evening. Utterly still and quiet. Apart from the sound of the M&S Moussaka gently bubbling in the oven. And then the screech of the oven door. That’s another thing that must be fixed.
