Mono Monday....Ready!

I am as 'ready' as I'll ever be to embrace another birthday....My feet don't seem to have touched the ground today, messages, texts, phone calls,  bouquets of flowers and good wishes from everywhere. Just sat down with a G&T and a mini birthday cake (bakewell tart) with a candle, which a friend suggested I bought, as I'm not really a cake person.
Excercise class this morning...then bumped into a couple of friends I hadn't seen for over a year, home to the first bouquet and a pressie on the doorstep, then a visitor later with more flowers....A great day.
