War continues

The Environment Agency has been fighting a battle to eradicate Giant Hogweed around Denver Complex since 2019. According to the local paper the area has now been cleared using a remote mower back in January when the plants were clear of sap. However a short stroll around reveals that their report is a bit on the optimistic side, although the colour of these diehards shows that someone continues to fight the battle using herbicide. I'm sure somewhere out there lurks a true survivor. By the time it reaches its prime height of 8ft it will be past dealing with.....
