Archangel Michel

Lovely mountain walk with the dogs this morning. We found this wooden relief in a little shrine to the Archangel Michael, dating from 1859 (the relief was added in 2016). Apparently Michael is often shown overwhelming a dragon, as he is here. A busy afternoon in the garden trying to get back in control!
