Immature bald eagle

I haven't had an eagle in this tree since it broke off last winter, I was happy to see one land on the top.  Between a 2nd and 3rd year in maturity.  When I saw it and ran out on the deck for a photo I grabbed the camera with the 800 mm since it is so light and I would be hand holding.  Quickly became frustrated that I couldn't get the animal eye detection to work.  Realized for some weird reason I had the 800 on the R, quickly ran in and changed cameras and the results are this photo.  If you are interested in the difference eye detection makes I put the first one from the R in the Extra Photos.
