Athletics club keeps me sane(ish)

I just love it . I love the camaraderie. This is just a few of us as all the lads ( old men ) had gone home .
If you made a Carry on film based around a mature aged athletics group this would be it . It’s such a motley crew but it works . Whilst I was in another county yesterday claiming the cat back from the idiots this lot and the missing weirdo males were getting medals at one of the masters competitions up in Nuneaton . I believe that Stratford upon Avon actually got the biggest medal haul . Go us !!!!
I don’t sign up for the comps as I’m too scared .. I’m such a wuss.. also I’d rather rescue cats. ;-))

Liz who is in the shorts is an absolute legend . She’s had a hellish 4 years but is now cancer free and she’s still running the 800metres for our club xx
