Spot the fish!

A paddling day! Hot and sunny, proper shorts and T shirt weather! 

Lottie and I spent a lot time on the beach at low tide and as the sea came back in. She is still wary about getting her dainty ankles wet, but I was up to my knees! 

Spotted this tiny flat fish in the shallows. It is the size of a 2p piece, and very well camouflaged against the sandy bottom. I could only see it when it moved. I stood, holding my phone as steadily as I could, not daring to breathe, as I took a video of it. 

I quite often see larger ones, about saucer size, fluttering off out of the sand, as soon as they are aware of me, but never seen tiny ones before. I'm not sure what species they are, too many flat fish to choose from, but perhaps someone will know?
