Ready to wear

Everything was so well organised by the dress shop for the WI Fashion Show. Each outfit was labelled (Sally 1, Sally 2, Rosie 1, Rosie 2 etc) and matching jewellery was laid out for us too. Each of the nine models had three outfits to show, and we paraded in turn between the tables while the dress shop proprietor described the lovely clothes. We were all shapes and sizes, some (me!) bigger than others and not a typical model shape!
After the initial nerves it was very enjoyable. Friends were trying to persuade me to buy everything I modelled! "You look stunning in that - you really should buy it!" I did come home with the navy trouser suit with its top. A good buy.
