St Mirren Wall

On Sunday St Mirren meet Hearts in the final of the Scottish League Cup. A few years ago the club moved from its previous stadium in Love Street to a brand new but smaller stadium a couple of miles away. This wall commemorates those who donated to the cost of the move.

I will be at Hampden on Sunday but I have to confess to being a fair weather fan as a friend of mine accused me but he is a Morton fan.

Many years ago I used to go to Hampden for the Scottish Cup Final whenever Aberdeen were in the final. Their manager was a young and unknighted Alex Ferguson who had moved there from St Mirren!
