Lake and forest hike

Easy start to the hike, train, then boat over Hallwilersee to Restaurant Seerose. Forecast really not good, so stayed quite local. The first 5km were along the Lake, then at the north end I walked up through the small town of Seengen, ready for stop at a lovely restaurant high above the Lake. I arrived to find a very large hole where the restaurant used to be! There was a new temporary building, but I decided just to carry on, up to the forest.
Up until this point, I’d been lucky with the weather, but the rain was now quite heavy. For about half an hour going up the rain continued, but fortunately then it was all over. The plan was just to keep walking home.
