High Force

First off: many thanks to everyone for your comments and stars/favourites on my birthday blip of yesterday - al very much appreciated.

High Force today ... not too far to drive and the parking area has some good picnic benches with views onto the Pennines.  We were there fairly early so just few others around when we had walked down the path to the falls.  I collected up a filter case which someone had discarded ... with a litter bin within 10 metres! 

My blip is 12 images assembled in Lightroom,  4 vertical frames, each with the Auto Exposure Balance set to +1, 0 and -1.  I find this is easier to do when I am on a family or friends walk and don't want to spend time with tripods and filters.  We did see a few photographs and paintings of the falls with water flowing on both sides of the central tower so not as spectacular today as it might have been?

We had a look at Grassholme Reservoir in the afternoon and a walk around Middleton in Teesdale.   Our last full day in this area tomorrow, so Raby Castle and we're planting a tree in the evening.
