Tussocks.

Tussocks are an iconic feature of the native beach landscape and core element of the ecosystem. This one is part of a wee group which denote where we usually leave the beach and go through the dunes to return to our car!

We watched the Scottish Government statement from Holyrood on the Coronavirus restrictions. The race between vaccinations and case numbers etc continues; fortunately not translating significantly into hospitalisations at this stage. Fragile and complex period though.

Younger son won his round in a golf competition this evening; so he survives to play another day. Older son and fiancé had some wedding business to attend to.
