Castle Crag and Honister Via Ferrata

Today we were over at Honister Pass to do the Via Ferrata Classic. Glad we opted for classic first it was pretty strenuous, required good upper body strength and flexibility. Once you got your head into it, it was fine being exposed on the rock face, views were spectacular. The final section was a very steep climb up to the top of the Honister Pass, we could even see the sea! Me, mum and James did a top job of completing it.

After a quick bite to eat then over to Seatoller to start our walk to Castle Crag and back. Felt a bit tired after the morning exertion but the views once we got to the crag definitely made up for it - and it was a Wainwright, having the stick helped. The sheep were really cute lovely white faces and brown fleece, with black lambs.

Ate in tonight we were all so shattered - lovely day again
