Supervisor of Works

Not wishing for anything of substandard construction to be produced, Merlin allocated himself the role of Supervisor of Works.

Don’t be fooled by his laidback appearance, he was closely observing, listening to and frequently inspecting the production process.

Thanks to Merlin and Andy, I’ve now a perfectly formed protective screen for the garden raised bed containing salad leaves which the sparrows were rapidly munching their way through! Hoping they recover and grow into healthy plants.

It’s proving a challenging growing year with the cool then damp mild spring, plus snails eating all my carefully reared marigolds and my usually easily germinated seeds like courgette and French beans, not appearing in their usual numbers. Hopefully the situation will improve!
