First Conundrum

Remco de Fouw was inspired by strange carved Neolithic balls that have been found throughout Scotland and whose origin and purpose are a mystery. He designed the 'First Conundrum' as thirteen different sized carved balls standing with little rocks, in front of a hemisphere covered by metal discs from which water can spout out of the black split.

Edinburgh Castle and the Usher Hall can be seen reflected in the window.
