Myrtle and the Golden Leaves….

Daughter Margaret flew back to Wellington early this afternoon. She is such good company and has given Keith, her Dad, a lovely couple of days in Wellington. She accompanied him on both flights to Wellington and back here to Marlborough. Thanks to Steve and Emily as well for being so good to “Papa”, making sure he had a good look at places of interest to him.
Our flowering cherry tree and wisteria is almost denuded with golden leaves fluttering to the ground and covering the patio furniture, paving and the lawn. Here sits Myrtle merging into the golden tones. Tomorrow I will get the leaf blower running and have a big tidy-up.
I had a last session of Physio for my lower back this morning….and Maisie went to her Vet to have her special low-allergy regimen reviewed. She is going well and we are being very careful to see she eats only her special dog food.
