Wet daisy

We’ve been waiting with anticipation for these daises to flower, which were planted last summer and are now over a meter tall.

VERY disappointingly a bit of heavy rain last week, just before they were about to flower, weighed them all down and broke a bunch of stems and generally made them look untidy. I have not yet forgiven the rain, it still really bugs me when I look over at them.

But hey, they’re starting to flower now at least!

We went for a meal out in the evening, outside of course, for the first time since the pandemic! It was rather lovely, and ended with the most scrumptious vegan mocha torte!
