Welsh poppies and geum

There was no opportunity to retake this. The best of 8 shots but I’d dug some of the self seeded poppies out before I looked at the photos on my laptop and decided I could have done better.

I’ve planted a courgette in the space but I’m sure the poppies (and some primroses) will return next year.
