Still life with beetle

I had to go shopping this morning - in the rain. Teasel was absent when I got back, so I decided to have a snooze while waiting for her to return from her  dedicated roaming. 
Well, she arrived in time for supper, so I decided to give our walk - in the rain - a miss  and took a few photos from around the house instead. 
It was interesting taking a fresh look at some of my treasures and I opted for this one in the end. Now I wish I'd gone for the walk after all, because I feel sluggish. Tomorrow's supposed to be fine so we'll make up for it by an extra long one.
