Changing of the Egg Guard

Things do seem to be returning to more normality, today that is definitely the case. This afternoon I had my regular meeting but this was the first time face to face since March last year. It did me so much good. 

Afterwards I took half an hour off as I just had to make my usual trip to Orrell Water park. I arrived just as the parent coots were changing the guard on the eggs - one off, one on in quick succession. Moments later the eggs were out of sight again.

It makes a change from garden bees!
