Country Scenes
I never thought that we'd live on the side of a hill, nor that we would have the views that we've stumbled upon. The hill rises 100m from our house and I don't know if it has a name (none shown on the OS maps or the free maps), but it's a great view every time we arrive from the south.
We're planning to instal an air source heat pump, to replace the oil burner, and the contractors arrived in force to investigate the plan of works. There was of course much sucking of teeth, "15mil pipe, where's the 22 mil? What's that pipe doing there? Oh no!" But we have a plan, probably to involve pulling up the floorboards in the hall and the bathroom to find the missing full-size pipes. Oh, and we've agreed to change all the radiators: some had to go to allow proper heat distribution, but we wanted them all to look the same, of course.
The Extra is a drone view north, towards Yeovil. The hill that lies left of centre is called Dancing Hill – presumably a hill on which dancing took place.
