A Day Out

We met up with my very long time friend Rhia at Hebden Bridge Station. From there We walked along Crow Nest Road toward Mytholmroyd then turned R up Spencer Lane along through the woods to Palace Wood Road. We dropped down onto the canal at Coop and walked onto Stubbing Wharfe for a sandwich and a beer. We returned to the Station Carpark via the towpath.  We dropped Rhia and Freya off on t'other side of Valley up in Chiserley.  We could see across Hebden Dale toward Heptonstall, a magnificent view. My blip is of a beached canal boat on the Rochdale canal.  Alice B., Rhia and Freya take an interest.

Fox news - We have been able to identify two foxes coming to feed separately.  The first is a Male, who is mangey at tail and hip, dark brown with a mask face. The second most recently identified feeder is female, orangey-red in colour with a black spot on LHS of chest.  Her mange has caused a 3 ringed effect/affect! on her tail.
