Urban meadow

Yet more 'meadow' love from me - the beautifully wild and natural heath, which most of the rest of the year is mowed within an inch of its life.  It makes me so happy when it gets left alone like this over the summer.  The birds and insects seem pretty pleased too.

Had a busy work day, but did managed to break off for a while this afternoon to call my Mum - and then to finish early enough to go for a walk before dinner.  Hot again!
