PICTURE OF MISERY

This sad looking little creature attracted the attention of other passers-by. The phrase
'I've been abandoned' seemed to apply.
As I was taking this picture, a flustered looking young man returned.
"I work for an animal charity and we're always hearing about people who've abandoned their pets'
said Mrs Chief (slightly heavy-handed) Passer-By.
'I've not' said the reddening owner.
'What's his name?" said Assistant PB.
'Charlie - she's a girl'
'I'm taking her picture because she looks cute and sad all at the same time'.
Charlie was actually quite a good name for both of them.
