A milestone

Wasn't sure whether to blip this but my youngest was in agreement when I saw her today and proud of her progress. After 3.5 years of inpatient support and 2 years of no eating herself at all she has managed to start to eat again. Over the past three weeks she has built up to the point she does not need additional feeding. Eating disorders are often co-morbid with other mental health problems and this is the case for her. Recovery is and will be a long journey but days like today make me incredibly emotional and proud. Mental health shouldn't be hidden.
