Forthcoming scent

An overcast but mild day. A good opportunity to catch up on the paperwork from last night’s meeting.

Not helped with my laptop battery needing replaced. It has developed a tendency to shut down suddenly if not plugged in even with the battery at 40%.

What is it with IT.? The repair on the other machine has not solved its issue of rebooting.

The garden is in that interim phase between spring flowers and summer borders. Some sweet pea are coming into flower. As are the peonies. The traditional red ones are heavy with flower. But I really look forward to these which have lovely heady perfume.
A few days more to wait! A bit like COVID !
