In the Garden

My roses are blooming!  We are usually camping at this time and we miss the first bloom of the roses.  One of the benefits of being behind schedule is that we get to enjoy our roses before we go.  PD had an appointment today and I have one next week so we won't be leaving until about the 20th.  

We had to go to the VA Medical Center in Aurora (south of Denver) today for a follow-up CT scan that PD needed.  For some reason they didn't approve "Care in the Community" for him this time.  The last one was done within 5 miles of home in a non VA facility.  Today we had a 100 mile round trip for a 15 minute exam.  I'm not complaining, though.  We are grateful that the VA takes such good care of him. :-)
