Yes this is my yard but not my chicken....

The neighbors redid their back fence. It needed it as it was falling into the people to the east of them. When it was redone it created a gap in the north fence line where my chain link ends and their wood fence begins. They have chickens who can slip through the gap. I don't really like chickens, chalk it up to childhood trauma from a rooster. I also don't like that puppies really like chicken poop, I mean really like it. Chickens can have communicable illnesses, they could make my 8 week old puppies sick! This also means it is only a matter of time before my two puppies figure out how to get into their yard.

I'm going to have to figure out how to plug the gap. I've been thinking for a couple of years that I would like a privacy fence on that side of the yard anyway. Guess it's time to get it done.
