An evenings entertainment

This is what I did all night. Worked on the distiller.

Because we live rural and our water comes from a well, it isn’t always great to drink. So if you don’t want to haul in drinking water, you get an expensive distiller like this. It’s a still that steams and cleans the water. Making it drinkable.

Tonight Lauralea took a sip of the water and nearly threw up. That means it’s time to clean the thing.

So tonight I took it apart, cleaned it, descaled it, and put it back together.

Sometimes I wonder what else we could distill in there…
