Roses before the storm

Another very hot day, and a storm late afternoon. I have almost managed to finish singing all of the decks- tricky with temps going up into the 90Fs.
We visited a very old friend of Debs in a home in Canaan, Connecticut. Always a lovely drive over. First time in 18 months and her 88 birthday tomorrow.
First time we’ve been out of state too.
