A tad chilly

We had to drive to Canberra this morning for a meeting. Canberra is 170kms away so we made a reasonably early start. After driving a few kilometres I pulled over to photograph the dashboard display. I know -1 is nothing unusual for the blippers in the Northern Hemisphere but this is Australia!  It's not common here at 8.10am, not even in the Southern Highlands where we live. The maximum forecast here today was 7 degrees.
