Spider web

I spent today in Okarito.  A short walk through the wetland after heavy dew revealed spiders' webs aplenty.  Then I kayaked the lagoon on an incoming tide with magnificent views of Aoraki/Mt Cook and Tasman.  Later in the day the high peaks were obscured by cloud, so it was lucky that the tide was early.  I still managed to get grounded twice, but not too difficult to find the channel again.  In the afternoon, I wandered along the track to the Trig, which gives great views of the lagoon as well as of the high peaks.
