Ceanothus and buzzy bee

We planted this ceanothus in late November and we were worried it might not take. However, it seems very happy indeed and is covered in rich purple flowers which the bees adore. There were already several on it when I popped outside this morning. Rob is in the process of finishing off the raised bed and I think I'll get another one to put in there.
