"Have you been to the cattle grid and back?"

I had indeed (it was a last minute couldn't-help-myself thing) and once I arrived back, I stopped to chat to this friendly guy who'd noted me going the other way.  Turns out he'd just heard my village mentioned on Radio 2 as a shout-out for someone's birthday.  Dogs and bikes was how the conversation went and a few bits of convincing that he would most certainly enhance my pic.  

I had a tailwind heading up the hill, which I enjoyed, and turning back into it for the ride home was quite a welcome cooler too despite the lack of sunshine for most of the ride.
