Harriet’s birthday was celebrated with a pony party, where human jumping games were also played ( and apple dunking, although by the time I arrived the apples had all gone but the dunking continued! ) and a barbecue afterwards.

Initially reticent to have a party, I think Harriet enjoyed her day and will be a bit more willing to have another one next year. To be fair to her, she didn’t really know how to have a party as the last time we were able to meet in a group, she was only 2 yrs old. Last year it was cold too, so we sat outside in coats!
