The Last Time

For the last time, 2021 diaries held the printed entry that 10th June was the date of the Duke of Edinburgh's birthday. Prince Philip didn't quite make his full 100 years, of course. I gather a rose has been named in his honour and presented to the Queen today as she faced his first birthday without him.

The weather went off today, so the youngsters had a mooch around Dartmouth. Master Bug Pugglesworth slept between my legs as I lay on the sofa all the time they were out. Such a sweet grandpug that he is!

And tonight - for the first time in 15 months - our line dancing resumes. Am about to set off now. I suspect there'll be as much talking as dancing, especially as we're all bound to feel exhausted pretty quickly.
