Pushing Up the Daisies
The grasses and wild flowers are long and lush in the churchyard at Makerstoun. A tiny church for a tiny village, but there is a service here every second Sunday.
It was deserted today, apart from a large and sleek red-brown hare. It bolted before I could get a shot.
We were on our way back from lunching at Floors with our friends C and C. It was so good to see them in the flesh, Mr C looking very well recovered from a bout of Covid which put him in hospital for ten days.
It was cloudy all day here, no sign of the eclipse.
